1. Use of YouTube API Services

Karaoke Lover uses YouTube API Services to search for and play music tracks. By using Karaoke Lover, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Karaoke Lover's use and transfer of information received from YouTube API Services adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information accessed through YouTube API Services is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.

You can revoke Karaoke Lover's access to your data via the Google security settings page.

2. Information We Collect

When you use Karaoke Lover, we may access, collect, and store:

• Account information (email, display name) when you sign up via Google or email
• Usage data (songs played, recordings created, features used) to operate and improve the service
• Voice recordings that you choose to save. These are stored locally in your browser unless you explicitly save them to your account
• Payment information when you upgrade to Pro (processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number)

YouTube API Data. When you search and play tracks, Karaoke Lover accesses public YouTube data through YouTube API Services, including video search results, video IDs, titles, channel names, thumbnails, and playback metadata. This data is used only to display search results and stream the track you selected. We do not store YouTube user account data, and we do not access any private YouTube data on your behalf.

3. How We Use, Process, and Share Your Data

We use the information described above to:

• Provide and improve the karaoke experience (search, playback, lyrics, recording)
• Manage your account and Pro subscription
• Send important service updates (never marketing spam)
• Analyze usage patterns and fix bugs

How information is shared. We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the third-party service providers below, strictly to deliver the features you use. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law.

4. Voice Recordings

Your voice recordings are processed in your browser. We do not listen to, analyze, or share your recordings. Saved recordings are stored in your private account and can be deleted at any time.

• YouTube API Services. To search and play music tracks (governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy)
• Firebase. For authentication and data storage
• Stripe. For payment processing
• Google Analytics. For anonymous usage analytics
• LRCLib. For song lyrics

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Karaoke Lover, and third parties such as YouTube, Google, and Firebase, store, access, and collect information on or from your device, including by placing, accessing, or recognizing cookies, local storage, and similar technologies in your browser. We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication and to remember your preferences and recordings, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how people use the site. Embedded YouTube players may also set cookies on your device as described in the Google Privacy Policy. No advertising cookies are used. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. We will permanently remove all your data within 30 days of deletion.
